It will finally feel like Spring again!

Weather alert: It will finally feel like Spring this upcoming weekend! Let’s cheers with our beautiful Rhône Rosé

The best way to welcome Spring is with a nice chilled glass of French Rosé. While in our minds we immediately assume a light Provence style rosé, we would be cheering for spring with our Côtes du Rhône Rosé from Domaine André Berthet-Rayne. It is a tiny estate in the South of the Rhône region, in the little-known village of Cairanne (AOC).  Five generations of the Berthet-Rayne family have farmed this land, and today André and his wife Marina, are proudly carrying on the family tradition, together with their daughter Alexandra. The organically farmed vineyards are more than 100 years of age.

With a bright and radiant pink color, this rosé has a fresh fruity fragrant with floral notes on the nose, but also has a rich and full expressive body on the palate. The finish is long and beautiful. This rosé pairs well with grilled vegetables and or spring vegetable creamy soups.

The Domaine is also known for their outstanding reds for the AOC Carainne Vielles Vignes. The freshly arrived 2016 vintage is deep, rich and truly profound. This is a blend made of 60% Grenache, 20% Syrah and 20% Carignan.
